Das Pelham kombiniert die Wirkung einer Trense und einer doppelten Zäumung. Das Gebiss hat Anzüge, kann aber mit einem oder zwei Zügeln geritten werden. Je länger die Anzüge sind, desto schärfer ist der Effekt. Das Baby-Pelham hat kurze Anzüge und ist daher weniger scharf als das normale Pelham. Ein Pelhamgebiss wird vor allem bei starken Pferden verwendet, bei Pferden, die zu wenig Platz im Maul für zwei Mundstücke haben oder bei Pferden, die sich erst an eine Kandare gewöhnen müssen. Dieses Gebiss ist nicht für den unerfahrenen Reiter geeignet. Ein eliptisches (doppelt gebrochenes) Gebiss ist ein Standard-Mundstück. Dieses Mundstück hat zwei Gelenke, ist mehr zum Maul hin geformt und liegt etwas lockerer im Maul. Dieses Gebiss übt Druck auf die Zunge, die Laden und die Maulwinkel aus. Vorsicht bei schmalen Unterkiefern, die Gelenke können auf die Laden drücken, was zu Verletzungen führen kann. Im Vergleich zu einem einfach gebrochenen Gebiss, übt dieses Gebiss mehr Druck auf die Zunge aus.Die Sweet Iron Gebisse sind aus Stahl gefertigt und haben eine erkennbare blaue Farbe. Sweet Iron rostet, wenn es mit (Luft-)Feuchtigkeit in Berührung kommt. Der Oberflächenrost schmeckt süß und regt auf natürliche Weise die Speichelproduktion an. Dies führt dazu, dass das Pferd mehr speichelt, was wiederum die Akzeptanz des Gebisses fördert.

I'm impressed. It's very good stuff

I'm finding that menopause skin is very, very dry skin. Combine that with a harsh winter and my skin was in much worst shape than normal. I usually had noticeably dry skin on my legs & arms but winter made it itchy & more flakey. I started using the Eucerin calming formula but that did nothing for the dryness but did moderately help lessen the itching.
I got online to see what I could do for the flaking skin, add moisture and curb the itching without having to go to a dermatologist because I didn't think I had a major issue. My reading recommended alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) formula moisturizers and from reading amlactin was very popular and received high marks but I wanted to look at & try a couple of things before I committed to just one as it's likely this will become part of my regular skin care and I'd need an affordable option. I discovered the Eucerin AHA formula on Amazon, liked the reviews & decided why not try it. The price point was very good compared to amlactin. I received the Eucerin 12/14/2017 and have used it religiously twice a day. The flakiness subsided in a week and the itch only occurs on my back where I can't reach to apply it. This stuff has been wonderful to apply to my skin. My skin is no longer flaky or ashy & the rough patches are gone from my knees & elbows.
This stuff is very heavy but it doesn't feel greasy to me because my skin soaks uses it in pretty quickly. I am not sure if I could use this in a hot, humid summer but for the current -20+ wind chills I'm living through, that heaviness is working in my favor. If you don't want to apply a heavy thick lotion to your skin or if that type of formula could cause a breakout, this isn't the moisturizer for you.
It doesn't really have a smell to me. Once I apply it I only smell the scent of my bee & flower sandalwood soap. This lotion is not scented so that's a plus for me.
Also unlike amlactin it does not contain parabens.
I did order the amlactin and will try it after this is gone but it's likely I will continue with the Eucerin AHA formula. It has worked very well for me. I've not done price shopping for this locally so I can't add anything in terms of costs on Amazon versus brick&mortar.
But if you can handle its heaviness I'd definitely recommend it.

BEST REPAIR HAND AND BODY CREAM!

This is the best "repair" body/hand cream I've found, and I've tried quite a few. I have dogs and cats and I garden -- so I ALWAYS have scratches and tiny puncture woulds either from cats, dogs, rose bushes or cacti; and this Eucerin body cream helps to sooth and heal them quickly. I also notice that it helps relieve dryness very well, and once it soaks in, you aren't left feeling 'greasy'. It has no perfumes, and so is unscented.
