Membran-Konstruktion meist recht große Einbautiefen und können oft nicht an den gewünschten Einbauplätzen verbaut werden. Dieses Problem kann jetzt mit den HiFonics ZEUS STREET ZST Subwoofern in Flachbauweise gelöst werden. Die Problemlöser finden dank ihrer geringen Einbautiefen von knapp 8 bzw. 9 cm überall auch dort Platz, wo herkömmliche Subwoofer einfach zu tief sind.
Konventionell aufgebaute Subwoofer haben einen tief ausgeformten Konus, welcher die Membran gut in Form hält, aber leider die Einbautiefe maßgeblich negativ mitbestimmt. Will man die Einbautiefe reduzieren, kommen solche Membranen nicht in Frage, man muss flachere Versionen einsetzten. Würde man diese jedoch aus herkömmlichen Materialien wie Papier oder Kunststoff bauen, würden flache Subwoofer nicht gut klingen. Daher werden die Membranen der ZEUS STREET ZST Serie aus einem extrem harten Glasfaser/Karbon-Verbundwerkstoff gefertigt. Nur so kann sichergestellt werden, dass bei hohen Bass-Auslenkungen die Luft sauber komprimiert wird und keine Verzerrungen entstehen. Auch nicht klassenüblich sind die Antriebe mit großen Magneten und 50 mm Schwingspulen, die einen X-Max bis zu 15 mm (+/-) zulassen.
Der 20 cm Sub ZST8 kann in einem geschlossenen Gehäusevolumen von 10-15 Litern sein Potential bestens ausspielen, der ZST10 sollte ab 15-25 Litern eingesetzt werden. Beide Subwoofer spielen auch sehr gut in Bassreflex-Abstimmung, welche etwas mehr Volumen benötigt, dann aber noch druckvoller spielen.

Looks great by my bed!
Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art!
I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye.
The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease.
However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

Beautiful jewelry display

A few rough edges, but all in all well made and attractive. Holds lots of earrings and I can drape my necklaces on the tree. There's a nice bowl for bracelets and a nice tray that forms the base.

Gorgeous

It really is pretty to look at. To be honest arranging the earring on the tree is a bit of a pain, because the leaves tilt in different directions, and you have to play with it a bit to get the earrings to hang the way you would like them, but once you figure it out, they look very nice. I just adore it because it looks so pretty. I use the basket on the side for rings and watches, and the little plate in the base for a few miscellaneous pieces like necklaces or bracelets for balance and because they look nice. You'll love it.

gorgeous, and worth the purchase.

I wasn't sure about purchasing the jewelry stand at first (I had my doubts), but those doubts quickly disappeared upon the arrival/unpackaging of the jewelry stand.
SHIPPING/PACKAGING
It was nicely packaged, and not bent or damaged when I recieved it. The stand was a little wobbly (due to careless measuring of the copper balls, the fault of the manufacturer)
THE PRODUCT
The pictures are not how it is. Remember that. I thought the tree would be more three dimensional, you know- like a real tree. It wasn't, though. It was like someone took a 2D copper tree and made it stand up. It's still pretty, though, and holds a lot of jewelry.
PRICE-WISE
If you're looking at the price and it says $45 or more, don't buy it. I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right.
OVERALL?
In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.

Beautiful and sturdy

This piece is far superior than I expected. It is beautiful and sturdy. I don't have a lot of fancy jewelry. I just have several everyday pieces with a few unique pieces. This tree was perfect. It is attractive, like a unique piece of jewelry itself.
