Mit einer hohen Akku-Leistung von 216 Wh sind sie optimal geeignet für extrem schwere Anwendungen über einen längeren Zeitraum. Dank ihrer Rückwärtskompatibilität sind die innovativen Li-Ion Akkus auch in nahezu allen Maschinen aus dem 18 Volt XR-Sortiment einsetzbar. Sie überzeugen mit einem effektiven Schutz vor Überlastung, Überhitzung und Tiefenentladung durch spezielle Elektronik. Mit einer Akku-Kapazität von 12 Ah in der 18 Volt-Schaltung bieten sie eine sehr hohe Laufzeit. Ihr robustes Gehäuse und die stoßsicher verlöteten Akku-Zellen machen sie optimal geeignet für den harten Baustellen-Einsatz. Der Akku ist problemlos transportierbar, da die Zellebenen mechanisch getrennt sind und die Wattstundenleistung unter den gefahrgut-Klasse 9 liegenden 100 Wh liegt. Eine Ladezustandsanzeige mit 3 LEDs ermöglicht eine einfache Kontrolle des Akku-Status per Knopfdruck.
