Altes Bauernleinen Landhaus Leinenstoff Leinenballen (Halbleinen)

Der Ballen ist 5,6m lang 0,71m breit und 0,65mm dick und wiegt 1530 Gramm.

Dieser Halbleinenballen ist sehr sauber, sehr weich und hat eine schöne Querstruktur. 

Die erste Wicklung und die gerollte Außenseite kann Lagerungsspuren aufweisen.

Leinen ist ideal für Näharbeiten von Tischdecken, Vorhänge, Taschen, Tragetaschen, Handtaschen, Einkaufsbeutel, Brotbeutel, Taschentücher, Duschvorhänge, Tischläufer, Autoschonbezüge, Polsterstoff für Stühle und Polstermöbel.

Ca. 100 Jahre alt.

Auf den letzten Bildern kann man erkennen, das sich Gilb und Liegeflecken komplett beseitigen lassen. Dazu wird das Leinen wie schon zu Großmutters Zeiten einfach nur in der Sonne gebleicht.
Das Musterstück auf den Bildern wurde nicht gewaschen. Es wurde ausschließlich der Sonne und dem Wetter überlassen.

Gilbflecken bei Leinenprodukten sind aus diesem Grunde auch kein Mangel.
Man kann diese eher als Zeichen ihrer Geschichte verstehen. 

Auch möchte ich mich an dieser Stelle der "Grünen Welle" anschließen, denn der Stoff ist noch aus nachhaltigem Anbau, frei von Chemikalien und Pestizide es wurden keine Kunstfasern oder Weichmacher verarbeitet. Also ein reines Bioprodukt, welches in Handarbeit vollendet wurde.

Altes Bauernleinen hat eine schmutzabweisende Eigenschaft, es ist bis 95 Grad waschbar und es ist sehr reißfest. Leinen ist beständig gegen Motten und hat eine antibakterielle Wirkung und ist zudem auch pilzhemmend.

Während Leinen im Sommer eine kühlende Eigenschaft hat, hält es im Winter schön warm.
Auch das Leinen sich nicht statisch auflädt, ist ein weiterer Vorteil von diesem Naturprodukt.

Excellent Tool For Drilling Shelf Pin Holes
I had a project where I was extending the depth of the bottom half of a bookcase I had made out of pre-drilled MDF from Home Depot. The original bookcase was 11" deep x 10' high. The extended depth of the bottom is to be used to hold audio gear and needed to be 18" depth, front to rear. I was able to increase the depth but had to insert additional panels on the left and right so that shelf pins could be installed. I needed a shelf pin jig to do that, and this jig was perfect for the job. After completing my holes and mounting some shelves I was pleased that the alignment with the inner portion of the shelf was perfect and the distance between holes lined up exactly as with the original panels from Home Depot. The jig is high quality fabricated aluminum, not plastic, and it comes with two drill bits, and stop and Allen wrench, including an instruction manual, all in an attractive plastic case. The jig is well worth the modest price and I would definitely recommend it for drilling shelf clip holes.

I realized I don't need to drill 5mm holes, so this item is just perfect. It's higher quality than those other cheap-chinese noname jigs. In particular: * The stop collar provided actually fits the drill bit. I had one from Tanyo that had too-big collars that didn't stay put. * The fence pins are very soilid, so the jig doesn't move while in place. Other brands have a long knurled screw that wobbles and allows the kiig to move around. * The plate is thick, making it feel sturdy. * It's phyically smaller than the others, because it doesn't have any useless features like euro-hinge hole guides. The case is more compact and stores well. Overall, very satisfied with this jig.

likes, all aluminum construction, seems very accurate and uses more sturdy 1/4 inch shelf pins instead of the 5mm ones comes with 2 bits which is a huge plus the competition makes you buy the 1/4 drill and only is set up for 5mm to start. this jig will work along side, for now, my other jig dislike is the fact it only has 1/4 pin capability not a deal killer in any way, and it has "pins" to support the jig on the edge again this is both an advantage and disadvantage as you can change the depth of where the pins are located BUT if you are making something smaller the jig may not calibrate consistently. on another positive you can replace the bits easily and commonly as they are not proprietary and simply standard 1/4 inch bits this will be a fine addition to my other goingmake tools and future ones
