Ein langer Traum ging in Erfllung. 1997 hatte er das groe Bild vom Grand Canyon von David Hockney im Museum Ludwig in Kln gesehen und seither verfolgte es ihn. 2006 wollten er schon einmal einen Roadtrip durch die USA und zum Grand Canyon machen, aber ihm wurde am Tag vor dem Abflug seine Ausrstung aus dem Atelier
The Big Picture war eine große Klappkarte von dreimal A4, die an alle Galerien und Museen auf Thomas Kellners Mailingliste geschickt wurde. Ein langer Traum ging in Erfüllung. 1997 hatte er das große Bild vom Grand Canyon von David Hockney im Museum Ludwig in Köln gesehen und seither verfolgte es ihn. 2006 wollten er schon einmal einen Roadtrip durch die USA und zum Grand Canyon machen, aber ihm wurde am Tag vor dem Abflug seine Ausrüstung aus dem Atelier gestohlen. Erst 2014 traute er sich wieder an die Geschichte heran und es dauerte dann doch, auch wegen anderer Ausstellungen noch bis 2018 bis der Grand Canyon, sein The Big Picture zum ersten Mal im Atelier gezeigt werden konnte.
