Die Bücher der Kaldewey Press sind bedeutende Dokumente zeitgenössischer Buchkunst, die weltweit in Ausstellungen gezeigt werden. Seit Gründung der Handpresse, die Gunnar A. Kaldewey 1985 in Poestenkill nördlich von New York eingerichtet hat, sind in Zusammenarbeit mit Künstlern wie Jonathan Lasker, Mischa Kuball oder Richard Tuttle über 60 einzigartige Künstlerbücher entstanden. Unter den Autoren finden sich berühmte Namen, etwa Samuel Beckett, Paul Celan, Marguerite Duras und James Joyce. Die Herstellung der Bücher, die in kleiner limitierter Auflage produziert werden, erfolgt auf höchstem handwerklichem Niveau: Gunnar A. Kaldewey setzt und druckt die Bücher und schöpft auch das Papier zum Teil selbst. Die buchbinderische Verarbeitung liegt in der Hand renommierter Werkstätten wie Christian Zwang in Hamburg oder Jean de Gonet in Paris.Das bibliophil gestaltete Buch ist ein Catalogue Raisonné aller bisher erschienenen Bücher der Handpresse.

2 years later and it’s still going!

I have 2 dogs, a 6lb chihuahua (Lolli) and an almost 100lb German shepherd/Belgian Malinois (Uzi). Got this for Uzi, however, Lolli had other plans for it. She literally took it out her mouth and ran to hide it. It’s been over a year, closer to 2 and it’s still hanging on.

I have a heavy heavy chewer, the only things that has escaped him were items like "kong" solid and rubber but no squeaky. He quickly lost interest in the toy; largely within a week at most and never picks it up again unless really bored.
Squeaky toys had a life shelf of a week at best, that is with us taking them away to "preserve" them for longer. So far, this toy, the fish, has been the longest surviving squeaky and the longest at keeping his interest. it has received some cosmetic damage, but nothing that would make you remove the toy from his possession and it STILL squeaks.

Still holding up to my super-chewer!

It's a very good product. I would recommend this toy for a heavy chewing dog. My main reasons it's not 5 stars, it's HEAVY and the eyes peeled right off. My pup really likes to throw his toys around, this thing sounds like a cannon ball that's going to go through our floor! He also tries to destroy everything so he was chewing on the eyes and he would have definitely eaten them if I wasn't paying attention. It's not a horrible thing but I obviously don't want him to eat non food things. My dog also likes the squeaker in it, but it's difficult for me to get it to squeak. That's not a big deal though just thought I should mention it. Overall especially for the price, it's a good sturdy product that's cute and it's still holding up. He's chewed parts of the softer areas off a bit, but the rest is very hard so he hasn't made much of a dent. It's also about as big as his head, so he's pretty happy with it!
