Der Sipsmith Gin ist ein samtiger und charaktervoller London Dry Gin. Er überzeugt durch seine Aromen von Wacholder, gefolgt von Limonentorte und Orangenmarmelade. Er wurde 2013 bis 2016 zum Top Trending Gin Brand von World Best Bars gekührt.
2009 eröffnete Sipsmith die erste Kupfer-Destillerie für Gin in London seit 1820 – die erste seit fast 200 Jahren. Das traditionelle Handwerk und die Destillation in kleinen Chargen kehrten in genau die Stadt zurück, die dem London Dry Gin ihren Namen gab. Master Distiller Jared Brown setzte hierfür auf die aufwändige One-Shot- Destillationsmethode, bei der die Spirituose, anders als herkömmliche Gins, völlig auf Konzentrat verzichtet: «Auf diese Weise Gin herzustellen, ist eine ebenso anspruchsvolle wie zeitaufwändige Aufgabe», sagt Brown. «Aber es bedeutet auch, dass jeder Tropfen, den wir in unsere Flaschen abfüllen, von kompromissloser Qualität ist, einen aussergewöhnlichen Charakter und besonders intensiven Geschmack hat.»
