Polini Hi-Speed ist ein elektronisches Gerät, das für E-Bike-Motoren entwickelt wurde, mit dem Ziel, die Tretunterstützung zu erhöhen und dabei die gesamte Leistung des Motors zu nutzen. Die Montage dauert nur ein paar Minuten. Es ist keine Einstellung erforderlich, da es sich selbst reguliert. Das Gerät benötigt keine Batterie, da es sich selbst auflädt. Der Tachometer zeigt immer die Hälfte der tatsächlichen Geschwindigkeit an, ebenso wie die zurückgelegten Kilometer. Um die Geschwindigkeit und die gefahrenen Kilometer zu erfahren, genügt es, die Zahlen zu verdoppeln.

HI-SPEED AKTIVIEREN/DEAKTIVIEREN

Um den Hi-Speed zu aktivieren, drücken Sie die WALK-Taste innerhalb von 15 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten und das Display zeigt 5.0 an; um den Befehl zu bestätigen, schalten Sie das Fahrrad aus und wieder ein. Hi-Speed ist nun aktiv und wird bei jedem Start des Fahrrads aktiv sein (auf dem Display wird 5.0 angezeigt)

Um den Hi-Speed zu deaktivieren, drücken Sie die WALK-Taste innerhalb der ersten 15 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten und das Display zeigt 2.5 an (bei einigen Modellen kann es 3 anzeigen); Um den Befehl zu bestätigen, schalten Sie das Fahrrad aus und wieder ein. Hi-Speed ist nun deaktiviert und bleibt bei jedem Start des Fahrrads deaktiviert (auf dem Display wird 2,5 angezeigt, bei einigen Modellen kann 3 oder 0 angezeigt werden).

Die auf dem Display angezeigten Geschwindigkeits- und Distanzwerte sind bei Brose-Modellen real, bei Mahle-Modellen sind sie halbiert.

Achtung: Verwenden Sie niemals die Missionskontrolle, wenn der Hi-Speed eingebaut ist, da der Hersteller eine Meldung über den Einbau eines Nicht-Originalteils erhalten könnte. Um Mission Control zu verwenden, deinstallieren Sie Hi-Speed.

Hinweis: bevor Sie das Motorrad zur Wartung bringen, deaktivieren Sie Hi-Speed; schalten Sie das Motorrad aus und wieder ein, entfernen Sie das Gerät und setzen Sie die TCU gemäß der Specialized Anleitung zurück.

It all makes sense now

This book covers Ancient Chinese History, Starting from the Settlement at the Yellow River through the Xia, Shang, Zhou, and Qin Dynasties to the Han Dynasty. This should ring a bell for some folks as this is the period around the Yellow River shows the early development of man in this region. Ancient Chinese history is a tapestry of remarkable achievements, cultural developments, and political transitions that unfolded over thousands of years. It all began with the settlement at the Yellow River, where early agricultural communities emerged around 5000 BCE. This period witnessed the gradual transition from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to settled farming communities, marking the foundation of Chinese civilization. From this fertile ground, the Xia Dynasty rose in the 21st century BCE, establishing the first recorded dynasty in Chinese history. Although little written evidence remains, the Xia period laid the groundwork for future dynasties, fostering advancements in agriculture, irrigation systems, and early forms of government. The subsequent Shang Dynasty (16th–11th century BCE) witnessed great cultural achievements, including the development of a complex writing system and the creation of magnificent bronze artworks. It was during this era that the concept of the Mandate of Heaven emerged, which stated that rulers' legitimacy depended on their ability to govern effectively. Following the fall of the Shang Dynasty, the Zhou Dynasty (1046–256 BCE) emerged and introduced the feudal system, characterized by a decentralized government. This era saw the flourishing of philosophy, with notable thinkers like Confucius and Laozi influencing Chinese thought for centuries to come. The Qin Dynasty (221–206 BCE) unified China under the rule of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, bringing about remarkable political and administrative reforms. It standardized currency, measurements, and writing systems, and constructed the Great Wall of China. Although short-lived, the Qin Dynasty paved the way for the subsequent Han Dynasty. The Han Dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE) was a period of significant cultural and technological advancements. It expanded the empire's territorial reach, established the Silk Road, and embraced Confucianism as the official ideology. The Han Dynasty left a lasting legacy, shaping the Chinese state and society for centuries. Through these pivotal dynasties, Ancient Chinese history witnessed the development of a rich and enduring civilization, with contributions that continue to influence the world today.

In spite of the title; it's not until 40% into this book that the subject matter actually gets around to "Alexander the Great'. Oddly, several times, the text uses the phrase "might have said" to signify what someone MIGHT have said. Then there are occasions where the reader is told that someone uses cunning, or brilliant planning, to achieve a goal…but the method or action is not actually explained. Then there are (of necessity?) occasions where the author purely assumes or guesses at circumstances, or actions. The great majority of the book is taken up with detailed descriptions of battles. STILL - there Is much to learn from this glorification of Alexander.
