Das traditionelle Zwiebelmuster wurde 1731 von Johann Melchior Steinbrück nach Vorlagen ostasiatischer Malerei entwickelt. Ursprünglich als 'Steinbruchmuster' bezeichnet, erlangte es aufgrund der Ähnlichkeit mit der gestalterischen Aufteilung einer Zwiebelfrucht schnell seinen volkstümlichen Namen. Heute, fast 300 Jahre später, ist das Zwiebelmuster ein herausragendes Beispiel für die kunstvolle Kombination von traditioneller Handwerkskunst und modernem Design. It's good for sleeping on my side or my back. The pillow cradles and supports the head and neck in a more contoured way than some harder pillows. The price is reasonable. The only difference from Sleep Innovations is that this pillow does not have a zip cover. So there is no way to wash the exterior. I suppose that one could buy a zip cover for it at extra cost.
