Alocasia in PON or stratum are shipped in moss so that the substrate does not damage the leaves.

Origin of Alocasia:

Alocasia originated in the tropical and subtropical regions of South and Southeast Asia and parts of Australia. They are native to countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, the Philippines and parts of Australia. These plants thrive in moist, shady forests and prefer a warm and humid climate.

Care instructions for your home:

💧Humidity:

Alocasia require high humidity to stay healthy. They thrive well in environments with a humidity of 60-80%. To increase the humidity, you can regularly spray the leaves with water or place the plant on a tray filled with gravel and water.

🌡️ Temperature:

Alocasia prefers a warm environment. The ideal temperature is between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. It is important to protect the plant from cold draughts, as sudden changes in temperature could damage it.

☀️ Light and location:

These plants prefer bright, indirect light conditions. Direct sunlight can cause burns on the leaves, while too little light can impair growth. Place the Alocasia in a location where it can benefit from bright, indirect light but is protected from direct sunlight.

🚿 Watering:

Alocasia require regular watering to ensure evenly moist but not soggy soil. Allow the top layer of soil to dry slightly between waterings to avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot. However, also avoid letting the root ball dry out completely.

🌱 Care:

Alocasia prefers a well-drained substrate. Regularly remove dust from the leaves to keep the pores clear and improve photosynthesis. During the growing season, you can fertilize the plant monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer to promote growth.

Still Searching for the Right Scent
Scent: Sandalwood + Amber, Size: 30.3 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Smells great and lathers well, but it’s super hard to get any volume out of the bottle, and the scent really isn’t that strong or distinctive. I don’t think I’ll buy this again and will keep looking. I’ve tried Salt & Stone Body Wash with Antioxidants for Deep Moisture and ORIBE Cote d'Azur Replenishing Body Wash as well; they’re good, but they don’t offer any noticeable scent once you’re out of the shower. I have a very sensitive nose, so I know it’s not just me.

Superb
Format: Hardcover
A superb selection of Williams' poetry in a handsome and durable small volume. The editor, Robert Pinsky, selected an appropriate spectrum of Williams' verse across his long career, including all his most famous poems. Reading and rereading these poems is always rewarding because of Williams' ability to capture arresting images, experiences, and states of mind. As with all anthologies, some choices may be arguable. I would like to see all of his great, late poem Asphodel included but Pinsky's choices make sense and reflect his sure knowledge of Williams' work. This book is a great addition to the worthy American Poets Project.

Another excellent volume from the American Poets Project
Format: Hardcover
As stated in another one of my reviews, every single Library of America volume I've ever purchased (including volumes from the American Poets Project) have been of the highest quality, superbly executed and just plain beautiful. Already possessing several volumes of William Carlos Williams work, I purchased this compact, delightful volume as a gift for my oldest son (who shares my appreciation for both great literature generally, and poetry specifically). Upon its arrival (delayed, once again, by amazon's ridiculously slow delivery) I was more than pleased, and felt proud to be presenting my son with such a first rate representation of W.C.W.'s work.
