Just before that, Jan had seen a show by Natalya’s band Machukha, while Natalya had attended a performance where Jan performed solo as Alien Blut. Instantly fascinated by each other’s work, what started as a simple idea to collaborate on a song quickly turned into eight compositions and a strong visual concept for a joint project.

Inspired by Ukrainian folklore horror stories, their sound blends elements of dark wave, black metal, experimental electronica, and dark ambient. The name vchepyvsi blud means "to get lost" in Ukrainian, but Blud it is also the name of a mythical creature from Ukrainian legends. A spectral being that lures wanderers into the forest, embracing them before leading them into the unknown.
