Funktionalität des MID SOX
Der Mid Sox ist zweifarbig gestaltet und mit einigen Features ausgestattet. Die Oberseite des Sockens ist etwas dünner als die untere Laufseite, die dadurch etwas mehr Dämpfung für das Fußgewölbe bietet. Dank der Kompression sitzt der Socken eng am Fuß, bietet aber dennoch ein weiches Gefühl und wird nicht unangenehm heiß. Das liegt am Material, das funktionsfähiger ist als klassische (Bio-)Baumwolle: Dank Polyamid - eine andere Bezeichnung ist Nylon - und der Beimischung des extrem dehnbaren Elasthans (auch bekannt unter den Markennamen Lycra und Spandex) ist der MID SOX sehr reißfest und formbeständig, bleibt aber dennoch schweißabsorbierend und nimmt unangenehme Gerüche (ja, die kann es bei Socken durchaus geben) weniger stark auf als Baumwolle.
Und noch einen Kleinigkeit: Wir verwenden absichtlich nicht die Bezeichnung R und L auf unseren Socken, da keine anatomisch angefertigten Socken für einen rechten oder linken Fuß hergestellt werden. Zu oft haben wir beim Tragen von Sportsocken erst nach dem Anziehen gemerkt, dass der Buchstabe auf der "falschen" Seite steht. In Sachen Tragekomfort ist das zwar egal, aber es sieht schon etwas witzig aus. Daher lassen wir bei unseren Socken die Rechts-Links-Bezeichnung weg.

Wie funktioniert Kompression?
Kompression kommt aus dem Lateinischen und kann mit "Zusammendrücken" oder "Umarmung" übersetzt werden. Aus sportmedizinischer Sicht geht es um die Förderung der Durchblutung: Durch den relativ engen Sitz des MID SOX wird der mechanische Druck auf die Venen in Fuß und Knöchel erhöht, was den Abtransport von sauerstoffarmen Blut erhöht. Die Folge ist, dass das Blut etwas schneller im Körper zirkuliert und so zu einer Leistungssteigerung führen kann. Zudem gibt unser MID SOX einen stabilisierenden Effekt, der für mehr Sicherheit sorgt und die Gelenke beim Sport um die paar Prozentpunkte mehr schützt, die manchmal entscheidend sind.

Wir verwenden überwiegend Polyamid-Fasern, die aus recycelten Plastikflaschen gewonnen wurden.

Updated review. I was so excited to get this chair that I jumped the gun and wrote the review prior to spending more time seated. I only have one issue, which is the back bottom of the seat cushion. That’s a big deal. It appears so thick, fluffy and inviting, however, when I sat in it for a couple of hours it completely went flat in the back feeling like I was sitting on a board. I’m 5’4” 180 lbs, which means my feet don’t touch the floor so adding a cushion will elevate me a little more. I’m OK with that but it’s going to ruin aesthetic of the chair which is which is not ok. I do love the idea of this chair. It’s design and the color. I wish the seat cushion had a zipper, which would eliminate my issue. I’d say if you’re someone who has to spend a lot of hours in this chair, you probably won’t like it. I do like the reclining back and the foot rest. It is comfortable to lay back but that doesn’t change the issue in the back bottom of the seat cushion. I absolutely love this chair, I didn’t want to get up. It’s beautiful and cozy. Assembly was easy as I’ve assembled chairs before. I changed the wheels to a double roller blade easy on hard wood floors. I also scotch guarded the entire chair. This chair is sturdy and well made.

I reallllly love this chair. I almost talked myself out of it because of some of the bad reviews here and there but i’m glad i listened to a majority of the good reviews, because this chair is perfect. shipping: it was super fast. it came 5 days earlier than expected. I got it on a Monday when it said it’d be here on Friday packaging: double boxed and bubble wrapped. Didn’t find any dings or scratches on anything. all parts were there including instructions assembly: my boyfriend put it together in 40 minutes. We didn’t have any issues zipping up the back cover like other reviews said and he said it was easy instructions to follow, and easy to put together. size and comfort: it’s bigger than the pictures let on! I’m 5’3 135lbs and feel like I’m sitting on a giant cloud. The comfort is 10/10. I just had a chair with basicslly zero butt cushion which i cannot have while working from home 8+ hrs a day in a chair. Comfort was the most important for me and I finally can’t feel the flat seat under me. I can’t express how comfy it is. Functions: can move the arm rests up and down. adjust the back to tilt all the way back to a sleeping position or fully upright which i didn’t even realize was a function! The only thing with the armrests; if you’re wanting your pet on it (like advertised) when the arm rests is put down there is a big gap that isn’t comfortable for animals (as pictured) so I have to put a blanket or pillow there for my small dog to lay comfortably. I’m obsessed with the fact I can sit cross legged, normally, laying down, sprawled up, or legs up. I have room to sit however I want, and the foot rests helps a ton with feeling even more comfortable. Overall, I’d get this chair 10x over. Not only do I work from home and spend hours in a chair, but I spend additional time playing video games so a good quality chair is very important to me. This has began to help fix my posture and back and neck issues. Get it!!!

If You Sit Weird Like Me… Just Buy This Chair

I work from home and spend a lot of time sitting for hobbies like Legos, PC games, and crafts—so a comfortable chair is a must. I LOVE this chair so far.
