Das erfolgreiche PC- und Konsolenspiel „Cities: Skylines“ ist die Grundlage für das gleichnamige kooperative Brettspiel. Anders als im PC-Spiel wird hier im Team gespielt: Zu Beginn stehen die Spieler vor einer unbebauten Fläche. Sie errichten erste Wohn-, Gewerbe- und Industriegebiete und erschließen nach und nach neue Viertel. Dabei müssen sie zentrale Faktoren wie Umwelt, Kriminalität, Verkehrsfluss und Bildung berücksichtigen und ihre finanziellen Mittel gemeinsam planvoll einsetzen.
