Ein großer Pinot Noir aus einer der unterschätzten, aber herausragenden Lagen des Rheingaus: die Johannisberger Hölle. Dieser Wein vereint Kraft, Tiefe und eine außergewöhnliche Aromatik zu einem komplexen Gesamtbild.

Herkunft, Ausbau und Philosophie

Die Lage Johannisberger Hölle liegt unterhalb von Schloss Johannisberg und profitiert von kühlen Luftströmen sowie Böden mit hohem Quarzitanteil – ideale Voraussetzungen für anspruchsvolle Pinot Noirs. Chat Sauvage arbeitet streng nach burgundischem Vorbild: Handlese, spontane Gärung, langer Ausbau in französischen Barriques und maximale Präzision im Keller. 2020 war ein exzellenter Jahrgang, der Kraft und Frische wunderbar vereint.

Verkostungsnotiz

In der Nase dominieren Aromen von dunklen Waldbeeren, Bitterschokolade und einer feinen Kräuterwürze von Bohnenkraut. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein druckvoll und vielschichtig – mit dichter Frucht, kühler Mineralität und einer präzise eingebundenen Struktur. Die Tannine sind präsent, aber geschliffen, der Abgang lang und würzig.

First off I have not had a watch in 20 years since I use my phone for the date and time. I decided to try using one again and love not having to retrieve my phone to check the time. The watch is beautiful and I love the look of the gold with the blue face and brown band. It works great and appears to be of the same quality as the Seiko watches that I use to own. I tested the face and tried to scratch a small area with a sharp object. I would not scratch so it is either glass or a crystal. the metal seems to be of good quality and the band is comfortable and feels like leather. Overall I am happy with it and will update this review if the situation changes.
