Technologien

SmartNet Silica

Direkt aus der Erfahrung und dem Know-how im Motorsport bringt Pirelli eine patentierte Rennformulierung in den Radsport ein, die maximalen Grip und Laufruhe auf trockenem und nassem Untergrund garantiert. Die längliche Form der Silica-Moleküle, im Gegensatz zur bisher üblichen kugelförmigen Silica, ermöglicht ein neues Niveau der Raffinesse der Laufflächenmischung, was zu einer verbesserten Fahrbarkeit führt, da die Mischung in Fahrtrichtung ausgerichtet werden kann. Außerdem verbessert die optimierte mechanische Widerstandsfähigkeit der Lauffläche durch die verbesserte Interaktion der Silica mit anderen Komponenten (wie direkt in die Mischung eingearbeiteten Aramidfasern) den Schutz gegen Durchstiche und die Lebensdauer des Reifens.

Armour Tech

Patentiert und abgeleitet aus der Motorsport-Erfahrung, wo Pirellis Fähigkeit zur Verfeinerung der Mischungen sich diesmal im Schutz gegen Durchstiche ausdrückt, dank Kevlar®-Fibrillen, die direkt in die Basismischung eingearbeitet sind und ein zähes Netz bilden, das jedes in die Lauffläche eindringende Objekt einfängt und dessen Eindringfähigkeit mit zunehmendem Eindringen immer weiter verringert. Eine Gewebeschicht von Ferse zu Ferse arbeitet mit einem bisher unerreichten Schutzniveau und macht es wahrscheinlich zum effektivsten Durchstichschutzsystem im Bereich der Straßenreifen für Rennräder. Der tubeless-ready 60tpi Karkasse, speziell für den Road Endurance Einsatz, ist ein exklusives Pirelli-Patent, das eine superverstärkte Karkasse mit speziellen chemischen Komponenten kombiniert, um einen absoluten Spitzen-Durchstichschutz zu gewährleisten. Die tubeless-ready Technologie verleiht der Karkasse Flexibilität und Geschwindigkeit und macht sie einzigartig in ihrer Kategorie.

Perfect if you're anything like me

I have about 20 small jewelry boxes sitting in my closet, stacked up high, threatening to topple over any time I reach over them to grab something else. I don't know what's in those boxes, except that it's jewelry I purchased and liked well enough to keep so that I could wear it again. But since all of the pieces are closed up inside, I almost never wear them because I don't want to dig through all 20 boxes to find the 1 thing I want when I'm already almost late to wherever I'm going. If ANY of that sounds anything like you, you need this jewelry box. Is it the most premium thing you've ever seen? No, but does it have a lot of storage space for a pretty compact form factor and hold a ton of stuff? Yes, it totally does. And is the price super reasonable? Yes, it is. And if you kind of squint at it, and look through softer eyes, it doesn't really matter that yes, this is kind of cheaply constructed, and the dividers do move around a little bit because they're not anchored to the sides of the trays. I was able to consolidate all of those jewelry boxes down into this one box, and I no longer need to hold my breath when I try to grab something over the top of the pile because I was able to throw. them. all. out! The satisfaction of purging my own personal leaning tower of Pisa was worth the price alone. But onto the nitty gritty details: yes, the see-through part is acrylic and not glass. I'm okay with that because I don't need more breakable things sitting in my closet. Yes, the dividers aren't super stable. I'm okay with that because they work well enough and keep each piece where it belongs. Yes, it's pleather (aka "vegan leather"). I'm okay with that because I don't need cow hide to hold my jewelry to make it feel more precious, especially because most of my jewelry is pretty inexpensive stuff anyways. I don't notice any glaring cosmetic defects when looking at it, aside from the one very squiggly scratch in my acrylic top that doesn't bother me too much, but since it does mean that quality control may be a bit lacking, this gets a very solid 4 stars.
