Seit über vier Jahrhunderten werden hier Spitzenweine produziert und Auszeichnungen gewonnen. Unter der Leitung von Bernardino Sani, der das Weingut 2015 übernommen hat, pflegt das Weingut eine nachhaltige Verbundenheit mit dem umliegenden kalkhaltigen Terroir. Argiano setzt auf vollständig biologische und nachhaltige Bewirtschaftung. Das Unternehmen ist fest davon überzeugt, dass sich die Rebstöcke, in diesem Fall der Sangiovese, mit minimalen Eingriffen selbst weiterentwickeln sollten. Das Bouquet dieses Weines ist komplex, mit Noten von Himbeeren und roten Kirschen, Veilchen und Menthol. Da der Rosso zu 100 % aus der Sangiovese-Traube hergestellt wird, die auch als "Jupiters Blut" bekannt ist, wird er oft als kleiner Bruder des Brunello bezeichnet. Argiano räumt schnell mit diesem Mythos auf – durch ihren schonenden Umgang mit dem toskanischen Boden hat das Weingut erkannt, dass sich bestimmte Böden einfach besser für den vielseitigen Rosso eignen. Dieser Rosso di Montalcino verbindet Struktur mit beeindruckender Frische. Er ist weniger kräftig als der Brunello, mit samtigen Tanninen und einem weichen, aber intensiven Abgang, der lange am Gaumen verweilt. Dies ist ein sehr angenehmer Jahrgang, der sich mit einer Vielzahl von Speisen kombinieren lässt. Es lohnt sich, ihn etwas zu lagern, da er dann noch geschmeidiger wird. Very sturdy

When we go camping, we use these Dixie plates a lot. They’re very sturdy and the cleanup is easy Peezy. The design is bright and cheerful are easy to use. It’s the great size for dinner plates and they also have smaller size plates as well as bowls. They’re very durable and we’ll hold up on heavy foods. We always keep a good supply on hand because when you’re on vacation, you don’t want to wash the dishes. They are great you’re using them and you throw them away or you can burn them.
