Carolina-Chili ist etwa zweimal schärfer als " Jays Ghost-Chili " oder " Bhut Jolokia Chili " Die leuchtend roten, pflaumengrossen und verschrumpelten Schoten tragen einen typischen, auffälligen Stachel, der uns vielleicht vor der gnadenlos zubeissenden Schärfe warnen soll. Der Carolina Reaper Chili hat  anfänglich kirschenartige und zimtähnliche Noten bevor die unerbittliche Schärfeexplosion klirrend und langanhaltend dominiert. Die direkte Beigabe in Essen ist nicht empfehlenswert. Idealerweise verwenden Sie Carolina Reaper als Zutat in Saucen und Salsas. GANZE CHILISCHOTEN: Die ganzen, getrockneten Chili-Schoten während 30 Minuten in warmes Wasser einlegen.
