Haltungsbedingungen des Motoro-Rochens (Potamotrygon motoro)

Der Motoro-Rochen (Potamotrygon motoro) gehört zu den bekanntesten und beliebtesten Süßwasserrochen in der Aquaristik. Ursprünglich stammt er aus dem Amazonasbecken und besticht durch sein auffälliges Punktmuster, das je nach Herkunft unterschiedlich ausgeprägt sein kann.

    Haltung im Aquarium

  • Aquariumgröße: mindestens 2500 Liter (empfohlen: 350 × 150 × 60 cm oder größer)

  • Temperatur: 26–30 °C

  • pH-Wert: 6,5–7,5

  • Gesamthärte: weich bis mittelhart

  • Substrat: feiner Sand, keine scharfen Kanten

  • Einrichtung: möglichst strukturarm, viel Schwimmfläche

  • Vergesellschaftung: nur mit ruhigen, robusten Fischen, keine aggressiven oder zu kleinen Arten

  • Futter: Garnelen, Muscheln, Fischfilet, Regenwürmer, spezielle Rochenpellets

          Endgröße

  • Männchen: ca. 35-40 cm Scheibendurchmesser

  • Weibchen: bis zu 50-60 cm und mehr Scheibendurchmesser

All dogs are different, so I don't know what your dog will think, but it's been a fantastic toy for our girl.
