Follow these steps for a secure installation. Ensure the engine is off and the boat is safely trailered or secured before beginning.
- Center the hydrofoil on top of the anti-cavitation plate of your outboard or sterndrive motor. Ensure it is positioned correctly for optimal water flow.
- With the hydrofoil held firmly in place, use a marker to mark the four drill-hole locations on the cavitation plate.
- Remove the hydrofoil and carefully drill the four marked holes using the included 6.5mm drill bit.
- Place the hydrofoil back onto the plate, align the holes, and insert the four stainless steel bolts from the top. Secure them from below with the nuts and tighten firmly.
