This 14k gold and platinum diamond ring is circa the cusps of the Edwardian era and the Art Deco era, incorporating elements of both styles into its beautiful design. The ring contains three Old European Cut diamonds, prong set into a rectangular bar with geometric squares created by milgrain patterns that divide the interior. On the side of the ring, a papyrus motif leads up from a delicate band that expands like a flower on the sides. The ring top and papyrus embellishments are platinum, a beautiful compliment to the gold of the band. The sides of the carriage feature a hand-engraved scrolling foliate with a lovely patina that delineates the motif in a way that only an antique piece can do—with age and patina working together working together to enhance the beauty of the ring. 

The diamonds measure 3.75 each, totaling .80 of a carat. They are bright and lively, G-H in color and VS2-SL1 in clarity. The rectangular face of the ring measures 3/16” x 9/16”. The carriage has a width of 4.75 mm, while the band is very narrow on the bottom, measuring 1 mm at the base. The ring weighs 2.26 grams. The ring is unmarked but acid tests as 14k gold and platinum.
