A former landscape architect, I spend a lot of my time staring at trees, branches, twigs, leaves and seed pods. This obsession lead me to experiment with getting different parts of plants cast in silver. The difference between my twig jewelry and others is that I'm not satisfied with casting a twig, making it into a circle and then doing a light polish. I work on each piece, filing, sanding, and hand polishing, to a very high luster, until the piece bears very little resemblance to how it was created in nature. It is an idealised representation of nature. That said, I find that nature has such a wonderful way of creating patterns, undulations and bud formations that I am compelled to highlight these in the jewelry I make.

You may order this item in sterling silver, gold plated silver or rose gold plated silver.  Please allow 1 week for production of silver option and 3 weeks for yellow gold plated or rose gold plated option.

I use the best gold plating company in London (they even have the Royal Warrant for doing work for the Queen!), based in the Goldsmiths Centre in Farringdon, and I get them plated to 5 microns, which is many times over and above industry standard. This means that the plating will last a long time. Moreover, I can always arrange for the ring to be repolished and replated at any time in the future.

Sizing - the dropdown menu lists UK sizing but I am able to convert to all international ring sizing - US, Hong Kong, Japanese, German or Swiss sizing.  Just leave a note at checkout with size and country scale.

Production time: These rings are made to order, so please allow a minimum of 4 weeks for your unique ring to be cast, hallmarked and polished. If you are in a particular hurry, please get in touch and I can give you a more accurate timescale, and I just might be able to rush it through for you.
