Description

The Medieval Bestiary Revised Edition (2001)I have searched far and wide to bring this information to you. I have read tomes dusty with disuse, and volumes on which the ink was barely dry. I have sought details from the great hunters and fishermen and listened to countless troubadours and raconteurs. In all this, I have worked to separate the true from the false, as one separates wheat from chaff. This work I commit to you and to posterity. Caprea filia Equus Minor of House Bjornaer, Crintera

-- Caprea filia Equus Minor of House Bjornaer, Crintera covenant, thirteen hundred and sixtieth year of Aries.

By the thirteenth century, the bestiary was one of the most popular books available in Europe after the Bible. The bestiary was both morality play and encyclopedia. The emphasis was on morality play, since most bestiarists were monks or other Christian scholars. From their point of view, the habits of animals provided insight into how we humans should be living our lives as Christians.

The Medieval Bestiary: Revised Edition is an Ars Magica supplement for player and storyguide alike. You should have this book if you plan to seek a familiar, play a shape-shifting Bjornaer, or tell stories that involve animals and fantastic beasts. The creatures described in this work are presented from a medieval point of view to help set the mood of your game.

The creatures described within this bestiary are ones known to the people of Mythic Europe, the setting of Ars Magica. Thus, there are familiar animals -- horses and hounds, cats and cows -- and exotic creatures -- dragons, gryphons, and sirens. Each creature is presented with a description written by Caprea of House Bjornaer, which reflects her views as a maga and scholar in the Order of Hermes. Statistics are presented for creatures when appropriate, and are compatible with Ars Magica Fourth Edition.

Lightweight, Effective—A Skincare Staple
Size: Gel Moisturizer
I’ve been using the Curology Gel Face Moisturizer every morning and evening and it’s quickly become a go‑to in my routine. The gel texture feels light and cool, absorbs almost instantly, and the clear, scent‑free finish leaves my skin smooth, not sticky or shiny. After a few weeks of use, my combination/acne‑prone skin looks calmer, with less redness and breakouts. If you’re looking for a daily moisturizer that works under makeup and plays nicely with blemish‑prone skin, this one’s a winner.

Has helped my skin and is really nice!
Size: Gel Moisturizer, Size: Gel Moisturizer
I’ve been using the gel, moisturizer, and gentle cleanser together for a little while now, and overall I’m really happy with the set. The cleanser is super gentle and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry, which is a big plus for me. It feels like it actually cleans without stripping everything away. The gel and moisturizer both have a really nice, lightweight feel. They absorb quickly and don’t leave any greasy or heavy residue, so they layer well and work great for everyday use. My skin has been feeling softer and more balanced since I started using them. If I had to point out anything, it’s that the moisturizer might not be quite enough on its own if you have very dry skin, but for normal to slightly dry skin it works really well. Overall, a solid routine—simple, gentle, and effective. I’d definitely keep using these.

This is my favorite lightweight face lotion. It feels so hydrating when it goes on but not greasy. I also love that it doesn’t have a strong smell.
