This iconic shell jacket is made for freeriding but works perfectly for general ski/snowboard activities on and off-slope as well as general outdoor activities like trekking and mountaineering. Norrona uses 70Dx160D GORE-TEX® PRO fabric because it is the world-leading environmentally responsible membrane for durable waterproofness, optimized breathability and total windproofness. The GORE-TEX ePE (expanded polyethylene) membrane is a key milestone in the responsible performance journey, providing high-performing, durable products that are engineered for long product life. GORE?TEX ePE membrane is light and thin, yet strong, and it's PFAS free (under 50ppm) with a reduced carbon footprint. To form new GORE?TEX products, the membrane is combined with carefully selected textiles, including recycled ones. Key features include a protective storm hood with one-hand adjustment, two-way underarm zipper, Napoleon chest pockets, one zipped inner stretch pocket and one stretch mesh dump pocket, front ventilation, keycard pocket on the overarm, asymmetric cuffs with Velcro adjustment, integrated and improved hand-gaiters, adjustable bottom hem, and zip-off powder skirt with gripper elastic and snap-seal solution. The jacket has a technical fit with articulated sleeves for optimal mobility and a longer cut in the back for extra protection.
