The cooling gaiter from Waldhausen, consisting of several separate cooling chambers, ensures optimum regeneration after sporting exertion and has a preventative effect to keep the ligaments, tendons and joints of the horse's legs healthy. Thanks to its generous size, it can be used on both the front and hind legs and can be ideally adapted to the horse's leg using elasticated hook-and-loop fasteners. Depending on requirements, the boot can be used several times a day for a period of approx. 20-30 minutes. Before use, the boot should be stored in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours or in the freezer for a shorter period. The horse should not be left unattended during application. This form of cooling also conserves resources and can replace the tried-and-tested cooling technology with water hoses.
