Frequently Asked Questions
How does the privacy filter work?
Microscopic louvers embedded in the glass block light at angles beyond approximately ±30° from straight-on viewing. Looking head-on, the screen is fully visible. Looking from the side (typical shoulder-surfer angle), the screen appears black or heavily darkened.
Will it dim my screen brightness?
Slightly — around 15-20% reduction in perceived brightness when viewing head-on. Most users compensate by raising the system brightness one notch. The privacy benefit usually outweighs the brightness trade-off.
Will it work with the under-display fingerprint sensor?
Yes — the protector is thin enough to allow the optical/ultrasonic fingerprint sensor to function. Some users may need to re-register their fingerprint after installation for best recognition.
Does it cover the curved edges of the Ultra display?
The protector covers the flat viewing area edge-to-edge. The slightly curved edges of the S26 Ultra display have a small uncovered margin to ensure the protector doesn't lift at the curves — standard for tempered glass protectors on curved displays.
Can I use it under a case?
Yes — fits under all standard cases. The thin profile and edge tolerance prevent case-edge interference.

Taking forever but worth it

Love the product. However, trying to take the screws etc out of its box, it’s almost impossible due to the adhesive inside it. I have neck and arm issues so for me it was even more difficult. Adhesive stuck to each washer and screw so I had adhesive all over my hands then I had to get it off of the items.

Great privacy screen

I have a studio apartment and the bathroom is in my bedroom. I bought this to section the area off so guests can use my bathroom without seeing my entire bedroom. This is perfect for that! It looks very nice and offers alot of privacy. The screen is fabric and good quality! I’m a middle aged woman and put it together myself in about 2 hours. Love this!!!

Nice divider 6 panel with wheels.

The wall works great , and I put it together by myself. I only gave it what I did because I have to move one or two of the panels on one end around a bit daily to make an opening to pass through. I find I have to check the screws that hold those legs/feet on frequently and retighten them. Beyond that everything was pretty good quality. (I ended up magnetizing an Allen wrench to one of the feet.) I also put on motion lights to the rollers so you’ll see them and don’t trip.
