Megaware SkegGuard® provides the best of two worlds. It will protect and prevent damage to your motor’s skeg and can also be used to repair and replace an already broken skeg.

The Megaware SkegGuard® is constructed of high quality marine grade 316 stainless steel that incorporates an extra reinforced wear tab across the bottom where the skeg is most vulnerable.

This 3mm thickened lower plate will withstand damage or abrasion from hidden rocks and debris or accidental ramp dragging. The Megaware SkegGuard® conforms to your lower unit to insure there is no discernible drag or compromise in performance. A drain hole keeps water from collecting and remaining stagnant.

Secured with self-locking hardware, the Megaware SkegGuard® can be installed with common tools in less than 10 minutes. It will provide years of service and save hundreds of dollars in potential repairs.

If replacing an already broken skeg, the Megaware SkegGuard® can be installed on a lower unit with as little as 2 inches of skeg remaining. It will be stronger and much more affordable than welding and replacing a lower skeg.

Megaware SkegGuard® is available in models to fit virtually any skeg.

A great stand. Does not wobble at all. I use it for work-from-home / school-from-home / create-from-home / gaming set-up. I have three different laptops I utilize on it. A 13" MacBook Pro, A 14" Razer Stealth, and a 13" HP ProBook. All fit well. I've seen this stand reviewed as "perfect for MacBooks" but I assure you all laptops would do swell. The lack of adjustability might seem like a drawback on paper but it has sufficient height where whichever laptop placed on it is neither too high nor too low. The space under it is great for tucking your keyboard in or your mouse. There's also a hole in the back to run your cables through. I usually run my HDMI, charger and keyboard cables through here and switching laptops while having the cables still in one place makes it a seamless experience. The rubber nubs on the dock for your laptop add grip and even a little elevation for ventilation. Speaking of ventilation, the "raindrop" hole isn't purely for aesthetic but also adds ventilation. Got what I expected. Quite pleased.

It is perfect for a tall guy like me that needs to have better posture. If you don't like the height you can also go buy the which is by the same company but is adjustable. I love using the hole in the back for cable management. It is also more portable than one might think. Yes, it doesn't collapse or fold or anything however, you can put it in a bag and it will leave a nice cavity for you to place books and other materials in. I have brought it with me to coffee shops. The only reason I am giving this product 4-stars is that it is not perfectly stable. There is a slight wobble during typing. It is not extreme enough to really get in the way of use but it certainly isn't a perfect product like some people claim. Perhaps they were using lighter or smaller laptops.
