Farndale – Daffodil WalkA 5. 5 mile (9km) 3hour walk which starts from the carpark opposite the old post office at Low Mill. We will meet at the carpark for a 10. 30 start. This is one of the North York Moors most enchanting walks which takes in the now ever popular daffodil walk. This walk takes us across the meadows and through the woods that line the banks of the little River Dove from Low Mill to Church Houses and a return journey across farmland and Low Blakey Moor.

This walk takes us across the meadows and through the woods that line the banks of the little River Dove from Low Mill to Church Houses and a return journey across farmland and Low Blakey Moor. Between mid-March and mid-April the daffodils form a spectacular display stretching the full length of the river for about 2.5km.
In order for you to enjoy and take full advantage of the events on offer it is imperative that you look after yourself and turn up with the appropriate kit. We highly recommend suitable walking shoes/boots, proper outdoor clothing for the time of year and a reasonable level of walking fitness. Unfortunately young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
