WHO IS DEATHSTROKE?
Defined primarily by his combat skills, Deathstroke has lost many things, from his right eye to his ex-wife to his powers when the Great Darkness was purged from his body, going through various stages within the DC Comics universe. However, one thing remains true: Deathstroke continues to be one of the most effective and dangerous assassins in the world, and there aren't many victims who would (or could) disagree with that statement.
EXPLORING THE DEATHSTROKE STATUE:
Standing on an eagle-shaped gargoyle, we see Deathstroke with his right hand drawing his favorite sword from a sheath on his back, while holding a rifle in his left hand. Armed and ready, his posture is imposing, allowing for a clear view of the details of his orange, blue, and black armor, partly made from a material called Promethium, a fictional and artificial alloy capable of absorbing energy, known as the strongest metal in the DC universe. And this is how we present Deathstroke – DC Comics Series #9 – Art Scale 1/10 by Iron Studios, with all the importance and prominence the character deserves.
FIGURE DETAILS:
Measuring 10.2 in (H) x 4.4 in (W) x 5.3 in (D) – 1.4 lb., the statue is part of the Art Scale 1/10 line, ideal for collectors who need flexibility in terms of space but still demand the quality in details and elements.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
The statue comes with two heads: one with his iconic mask, and one without it. In the masked version the back band is blown by the wind, while in the unmasked version, we get to see the details of Slade Wilson’s face, including his eye patch.
MATERIALS AND FINISHING OF THE PIECE:
Following the quality standards of the Art Scale 1/10 line by Iron Studios, the Deathstroke – DC Comics Series #9 – Art Scale 1/10 statue will also be produced using the same materials, with Polystone as the main component. It may also include parts made from resin, PVC, metal, and fabric to enhance its structure and raise the immersion of the representation.
