PRODUCT DETAILS:

Member's Mark Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

This dry, rich, and flavorful red hails from Paso Robles in California’s Central Coast region. Aged for 10 months in American oak barrels, it showcases exceptional depth and structure. Notes of black cherry and plum are accentuated by hints of oak, leather, and vanilla that lead to a satisfying finish. This Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully food-friendly, and it pairs well with grilled meats, hard cheeses, and even decadent chocolate.

Member's Mark Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel

From Lodi, California, “the Zinfandel Capital of the World,” comes a red bursting with jammy fruitiness. Dry and medium-bodied, this wine entices with aromas of blackberry bramble, plum, and toast that carry into the palate, joined by hints of spice from oak barrel aging. Its bold flavor is balanced by medium acidity and supple tannins that lend a rounded mouthfeel. This Zinfandel will get along famously with barbecue foods.

Member's Mark Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Fruity and food-friendly, this Pinot Noir shines with bright acidity. It was crafted in Northern California’s Sonoma County, which produces world-class wines including elegant Pinot. Dry and light-bodied, this red expresses fresh raspberry and wild strawberry with subtle spice notes and hints of minerality. The fine, velvety tannins make it versatile enough to complement chicken, salmon, mushrooms, soft cheeses, pasta, and salads.

Member's Mark Mendoza Malbec

Indulgent and bold, this Malbec hails from Mendoza, a leading wine region in Argentina that specializes in the varietal. This full-bodied red offers delicious layers of complexity, as rich and juicy dark fruit notes like plum and blackberry mingle with sweet spice and tea leaves. The finish is wonderfully smooth with balanced acidity, making this Malbec tasty on its own or with red meats, mature cheeses, and Argentinian specialties like empanadas.

Expect premium quality in our exclusive Member’s Mark wine collection. From vineyards in the heart of winemaking regions across the globe, our wines are made from the best quality grapes and brought to you at member’s only prices. Uncork delicious flavor in every bottle.

Serving Tips

A wine’s aromas and flavors are enhanced by allowing it to “breathe” when you first open the bottle. This can be achieved by simply letting it sit in a glass, using a decanter, or pouring through an aerator. It takes about 30 minutes for most reds (more tannic varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon may need about 60 minutes to soften). Serving red wine, especially lighter varieties, slightly chilled will also bring out the intensity of their flavors.

Food Pairing

This deliciously complex collection of red wines is perfect for pairing with a variety of full-flavored dishes. These reds are ripe for enjoyment alongside red meats like seared steak, juicy burgers, or roasted leg of lamb. For vegetarian fare, serve with roast broccolini, sauteed mushrooms, or grilled kabobs with a medley of bell peppers, eggplant, tomato, onion, and zucchini. Any of these red varietals will also complement chocolates or after-dinner wafers.

A mind bender.
Format: Paperback
Robert Monroe's story is such a remarkable one that for me it took a few years of pondering and re-reading various accounts of his "journeys" to come to grips with it as a legitimate reality. Since the early 1960's, Monroe carefully logged many hundreds or thousands of out of body experiences and over the years mastered exit techniques and went on to teach them to many students at his institute in Virginia. Far Journeys is a wild ride and was at times difficult to follow due to the many terms RM coined to describe the completely unknown entities and experiences that became routine for him. Once you get accustomed to the vocabulary, the narrative becomes more intelligible. The book is really something of a travelogue to non-physical reality. He is not stopping along the way to explain things to us readers, but leaving the experiences to speak for themselves. In the end, one is left to grapple with the implications of all he is laying out. Is he just completely insane? I don't think that is the case. Monroe was, in my view, a true modern mystic, born into a highly academic and rational Western world. He brought all of his pragmatism and mechanistic views on the world to bear as he wrestled with his remarkable gifts. He is really the heir to Edgar Casey, and in turn any number of mystics from antiquity.

Well written, entertaining - whether this stuff is true or not depends on your opinion.
Format: Paperback
I loved Monroe's first book. *This* book is entertaining, although annoying at times trying to figure out who's talking. I'm silent on whether I believe Monroe's fantastic stories. But if you're okay with that risk, I'd recommend this for both entertainment & perhaps to help unleash some creativity in your self.

Changed forever
Format: Kindle
We become so mired in our subjective “reality”. I find it truly beneficial to have a different, perhaps more objective perspective. I hope this enables me to make necessary changes to my journey before its conclusion.
