Getting Started:

Step 1: Brooding (First 6 weeks of life)
For the first 6 weeks, the Chick Brooder – 1 Layer functions as an efficient chick brooder kit and brooder for baby chicks, supplying essential heat to keep your chicks comfortable. It includes starter feeders and drinkers to ensure a consistent food and water supply. The automatic heating system maintains an optimal temperature, promoting healthy growth. You may remove the heating unit earlier than 6 weeks if your chicks no longer require supplemental heat. This makes it a great component of any chicken brooder kit setup.

Step 2: Transition to Breeding Layer (After 6 weeks of life)
Once your chicks mature, move them to the Chicken Cage Layer Addition—an effective chicken layer cage and breeding cage for chickens. It improves space management and provides an organized egg collection system. The roll-out egg tray keeps eggs clean and crack-free, while deep manure trays simplify cleanup, making it ideal for any scale of chicken raising kit.
