Orion 24/12-80 DC-DC Non-Isolated Converter with Binding Posts

The Victron Energy Orion 24/12-80 DC-DC Converter with Binding Posts is a high-power non-isolated converter designed to convert 24V DC to a stable 12V DC output with up to 80A output current. Featuring heavy-duty binding post terminals, it provides a reliable solution for vehicles, marine systems, and industrial installations requiring high-current 12V power from a 24V system.

The Victron Orion 24/12-80 DC-DC Converter is designed to efficiently convert 24V DC input into a regulated 12V DC output, allowing 12V equipment to operate safely within a 24V electrical system. With an output capacity of 80A, it is capable of powering high-demand 12V loads, including lighting, communication equipment, refrigeration, and onboard electronics.

This version of the Orion converter is equipped with binding post terminals, providing a secure and robust connection for higher current applications. These terminals allow installers to connect larger cables more easily, making them particularly suitable for professional vehicle, marine, and off-grid installations.

The converter includes a remote on/off connector, which eliminates the need to install a high-current switch in the input wiring. The unit can instead be controlled using a low-power switch or directly from an engine run/stop signal, allowing the converter to activate automatically when the system or vehicle is running.

Although some Orion models feature adjustable output for battery charging applications, this converter is commonly used to supply stable 12V power from a 24V battery bank. In systems requiring more output current, multiple Orion converters can be connected in parallel, with up to five units operating together to increase total capacity.

Features:

  • Converts 24V DC to a regulated 12V DC output
  • High output current of 80A for demanding loads
  • Binding post terminals for secure high-current cable connections
  • Designed for vehicles, marine systems, and industrial installations
  • Remote on/off connection eliminates the need for a high-current switch
  • Can be controlled via a low-power switch or an engine run/stop signal
  • Suitable for powering 12V equipment in 24V electrical systems
  • Parallel operation is supported to increase output capacity
  • Up to five converters can be connected in parallel

Very good book!
Format: Kindle
I really enjoyed reading “Count my lucky stars”. It was a great sapphic romance - sweet, funny and entertaining. It was the last book in the series and it summed up all the three couples from the series perfectly. I really liked Margot and just the way she is and also I felt for Olivia because I am similar - I usually put other needs above my own. They were just great together - they balanced each other out. Very good read.

Great conclusion to this series!
Format: Paperback
Margot is sure that long-term relationships just aren't for her. Been there. Blew through the tissue box. Wrote the novel. Done that. All her friends found their life mate, and that makes social gatherings a bit awkward now, but it's fine, really. Even the wedding planning she's invited along to with her friends, that's cool. Well, it was, until Olivia, her long lost childhood friend, happens to be a wedding planner they run into. Margot and Olivia's first relationship didn't go so well, and Olivia has since been married and divorced. Margot thinks Olivia is still as much a beautiful goddess as ever, and opportunity knocks when Olivia is stranded with nowhere to go. Margot is happy to offer up a spare room, but even though she and Olivia are getting along swimmingly, and sparks are flying between them, is Olivia what she really wants? When their first voyage into the unknown was capsized, are they fated to be lost at sea once more, or will the stars guide them to a brighter future than they could ever have hoped for? I've followed the stars all the way to the end of the Written in the Stars trilogy, and what have I found? A trio of excellent stories about love, friendship, hardship, communication, and the self. Margot and Olivia make a fun and interesting second chance pairing, with Margot being the prickly pear, and Olivia being really sweet. Margot is rough around the edges partially because she has a difficult time trusting, which I understand, and that along with other factors compounds into miscommunication along the way. While this story can be read as a standalone, I think that readers who've partaken of the first two entries will have plenty to enjoy, with Brendon, Elle, and other favorites returning for their part in Margot and Olivia's story. Margot and Olivia have the opportunity for a second chance, but giving somebody you used to love a second chance is difficult, no? Margot asks a lot of Olivia, and I understand why, but in the end, love is all about taking that uncertain leap in hopes of landing together on your feet. Their intimate scenes are rather spicy, so don't expect anything closed door about their romance. Count Your Lucky Stars is the story of two girls who fell out of love doing their best to find each other again, and I'm counting my own lucky stars for having the pleasure of enjoying this story and these characters across an entire trilogy. Recommended for readers who believe in second chances, enjoy romance between disparate personalities, enjoy sapphic romance, and fans of this friend group's previous two stories, which I also recommend.
