Heavy-Duty Aluminum Pile Brackets w/ UHMW Blocking
Our Heavy-Duty External Pile Brackets are a two-piece build consisting of a ½” x 6” x 30” deck base plate with integrated stub tubes and the hoop. These brackets can be installed by either bolting or welding them to your dock and or gangway frame.
For existing gangway installations you’ll want to specify a backing plate to match your frame. The 3”x3” radius box tubing hoop is removable allowing for service of the UMHW (Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene) bushing blocks. These blocks are held in place by two stainless steel counter-sunk bolts per piece and they will last for years while acting as a sound damper and protecting your piling from prematurely wearing out.
In the event you need to service the blocks you’re just a few bolts away from removing the hoop and be able to replace them with a part you can order from NW Marine Supply.
***What size do I need? Typically, just two inches larger than pile/pipe size. If have a 12” pile you will want to purchase a 14” pile bracket. ***
NWMS HD Aluminum Pile Brackets start 6″ piling and move up in 2″ increments. We can customize these brackets per your needs as well includes adding a stand-off, UHMW rollers, angle backing plates etc. Call for details.
