Carbon Chemistry's T-5® is specifically used for winterization, oil purification, distillation, and pesticide removal, oftentimes in Color Remediation Columns. Activated bentonite clay aids in decolorization and high-clarity products.
Carbon Chemistry's T-5 is a PH neutral, activated bentonite clay which is highly efficient and cost effective. T-5 is fast flowing and less likely to clog than other powders. The main uses of T-5 are color removal and heavy metal remediation. T-5 activated bentonite clay is commonly used in filter beds as the bottom layer and is helpful for stopping smaller particle media from reaching the filter element.
