Our FestiviTea Green Tea returns this year with a few changes we think you will love.
A sencha-style green tea blended with a green mate for a mellow brew, but there’s more. For a rich aromatic holiday blend, you will find sweet almonds, cherry bits, rose petals, coconut shreds, and cornflower blossoms.
FestiviTea Green Tea was created to commemorate the annual holiday light show at Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota, Florida. “Lights in Bloom” is a sparkling tropical holiday celebration and a beloved family tradition.
The delicate sweetness of FestiviTea Green Tea offers a perfect brew to celebrate family and friends while strolling through Selby Gardens or in your very own Eden.
20 to 25 cups of tea can be made from 2 oz of loose-leaf tea.
Brewing Instructions for FestiviTea Green Tea
Steep this tea multiple times as loose-leaf teas have far more flavor than traditional tea bags due to their superior quality and freshness. Tea strength is a personal decision, so please experiment to determine your preferences.
Use water between 180 and 190 degrees F, or allow boiling water to stand for 2 minutes. Steep green tea for as little as 1 minute, but not more than 4 minutes. For each of the following steeps, use water of the same temperature and double the steep time.
Festivi-Tea Green Tea can be steeped at least twice, and depending on the steep times, many more infusions are possible.
Also, consider blending the first steep with the following steeps to balance the tea. If you do not want to drink all the tea, store it in the fridge for wonderful iced tea.
Store in a dry place.
