Solid sunscreen for active use

I’ve been using this sunscreen for outdoor workouts and beach days, and it works really well. It provides strong sun protection, goes on fairly lightweight, and doesn’t feel too greasy for a high SPF product. I also like that it holds up against sweat and water, so I don’t have to constantly reapply.
The only downside is that it can sting my eyes if I start sweating a lot, and it may leave a slight white cast if not blended in fully.
Overall, it’s a dependable sunscreen for sports and outdoor activities, especially for the price.

Works and Worth It for the Anti-Sun Crowd

Excellent skincare for everyone

As an African American who’s always been serious about protecting my skin—especially during outdoor workouts—finding a sunscreen that actually works for deeper skin tones without leaving that embarrassing gray or purple cast has been a journey. Neutrogena’s Sport Face Sunscreen SPF 70+ has been one of the more surprising wins for me.
Texture & Application
The first thing I noticed is the texture—lightweight, smooth, and not greasy. A lot of sunscreens for the face tend to feel heavy or oily, especially in heat. This one settles quickly and doesn’t make my skin look shiny.
But the real test?
Does it leave a white cast on darker skin?
I’ll be honest: when you first put it on, you may see a slight cast, but after rubbing it in well and giving it a minute, it blends way better than most high-SPF sunscreens. On my medium-deep tone, it ends up looking natural.
Performance During Sweat
This is where the “Sport” in Sport Face shows up. Whether I’m out for a run, playing ball, or just in the sun on a hot day, the sunscreen stays put. It doesn’t drip, sting my eyes, or feel like it’s melting off. Even after sweating, my face doesn’t feel slippery or clogged.
Oil-Free but Not Drying
African American skin can be oily in the T-zone but still struggle with dryness around the cheeks or beard area. This sunscreen manages the balance well. It doesn’t cause breakouts, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight.
Protection
At SPF 70+, I feel fully protected—especially important for darker skin since hyperpigmentation is real. One thing many people don’t realize is that melanin helps, but it doesn’t block UVA/UVB damage. This sunscreen has helped me avoid tanning unevenly and has reduced flare-ups of dark spots.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Neutrogena Sport Face SPF 70+ is one of the better sunscreens for darker skin tones that actually want high SPF without the ghostly look. It’s sweat-resistant, lightweight, and reliable.

No mess and invisible protection

I have tried lot of sunscreen creams from different well known brands but I really like Neutrogena sunscreen as it blends in the skin very well no sticky feeling or sweetness and it really protects the skin which is the most important part , I applied this in the morning and whole day it protects my skin from sun and tanning as well , I love this so much and I really recommend this to people who expose to sun a lot and concerned about uv rays and tanning, give it a short you gonna love it 😍
