Ranked in the World's Best Chocolate 2025.

Origin & Craft
Crafted by SLOK, this drinking chocolate is made with cacao from Thailand. Developed for water-based preparation, the powder is designed to deliver clarity and brightness, allowing fruit-driven notes to remain vivid without dairy.

Flavor Profile
Lively and tropical. Bright citrus leads, followed by creamy guanabana and the delicate, refreshing sweetness of dragon fruit, creating a clean and aromatic finish.

Tasting & Pairing Guide
Water-based ratio: 1 part chocolate powder : 3 parts water

Standard Method
Heat milk (or water) until steaming. Use a frother or whisk to combine the cacao powder with the liquid until fully dissolved. A small dash of whisky may be added for extra complexity.

Express Method
Place the chocolate powder in a suitable heat-resistant bottle.
Add 80 °C liquid (do not exceed 60% full).
Shake 10–15 times, or until completely melted.

Iced Chocolate
Follow the express method using 60% hot liquid, then add 40% ice and shake again for 10–15 times.

Summary
A fruit-forward 70% hot chocolate with a distinctly tropical character. The Thailand expression offers brightness, freshness, and a modern drinking-chocolate experience designed for water-based preparation.

I was happy to discover Merwin's poetry.
Format: Paperback
Great collection of some of Merwin's early poetry. There's a mystical mysterious feel too a lot of his writing, which I like.

A Reading of "The Last One"
Format: Paperback
This poem represents Merwin at his insidious best, the conversational tone of the poem slowly leading to something imminently and undefinably dark, doom-laden. The poem was originally published in "The Lice" a book of poems written in the French countryside where, Merwin says, "I felt at once a profound attraction to the rural world in which I was living and a disquieting recognition of the fragility and uncertainty of my relation to it." "The Last One" ominously conveys that disquiet.
