Stefania Salvador is one of the most interesting musical talents to appear on the Italian scene recently. Aged 28, a pianist, composer and singer, after solid academic training – a piano diploma from the conservatory and composition studies – she fell in love with blues and jazz listening to great American performers of the past such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, and Bessie Smith. Melancholic and dreamlike atmospheres, bursts of energy in the exaltation of melody and the most varied rhythms characterize the seven original pieces and the five classics (Bridge over troubled water, Hey Jude, La vie en rose, E se domani, Se stasera sono qui) that make up the project, hence the Blues and Jazz that characterize this album. Exceptional guest artists on the album include: Enzo Carpentieri, Sergio Cossu, Enrico Dindo, Sandro Gibellini, Kyle Gregory, Jacopo Jacopetti, Benny Lamonica, Giuliano Perin, Cheryl Porter, Leonardo Rigo, Sax Four Fun, Daniele Scala.
