The compositions on this CD introduce us to the most significant chamber music compositions based on Dante's texts between the 19th and 20th centuries. The primary literary source is the Divine Comedy, and especially the Inferno, with its characters whose earthly experiences were horribly and romantically overwhelming. The other work that offers his verses to music is the Vita nova, a cross between poetry and prose, depicting the sentimental delirium of an adolescent for the stylized figure of a woman his own age.

The compositions contained in this CD allow us to become familiar with the most significant and compelling chamber music scores composed on texts by Dante between the 19th and the 20th centuries. The primary literary source is the Divine Comedy, especially the Inferno with its characters whose worldly events were horribly and romantically overwhelming. The other work whose verses have been put to music is Vita nova, a middle way between poetry and prose, that is the emotional obsession of an adolescent for the stylized figure of a woman his own age.

Pieces chewed off
Color: white & green
My Aussiedoodle loves it. I throw it down the hallway, it bounces crazy, and he chases it. The only complaint is that he can't chew much of the ball part. So now I have to have it put away and brought out for special playtime.

Colorful, Sturdy & Great Value
Color: Large Set of 4
Purchased for our two puppies when they were 2 months old and weighed about 14 pounds so theses balls were a little big for them to hold in their mouths but that didn't stop them from trying. While they did like these balls they much preferred softer soccer balls, the later of which did not hold up well at all. I had hoped they would play with these balls more when they were older but that hasn't happened 5 months later. I guess it's no fun if you can't tear the toy apart. Colors are very bright and they do enjoy chasing after them as long as I am the one rolling them across the room for them. Maybe when they progress to batting things with their paws they will start to do this for themselves.

3.5, Not 3.0
Color: Medium Set of 6
These balls were almost exactly what I needed. I was replacing my boy’s favorite ball, which is the 3” squeaky, spikey ball that fits in the chuck it launcher. Unfortunately I saw the shiny object next to it and because there were SIX balls and a dollar less, I failed to see that these are 3.5” balls instead of 3”…. Great balls but no fitty in the slingy. Buyer beware. No chuck it no problem. Save a buck.
