WHAT IMPACT HAS CHURCH MISSIONARY EDUCATION (CME) HAD IN AFRICA, ESPECIALLY SINCE THE NINETEENTH AND TWENTIETH CENTURIES?

Reclaiming Traditions of Igbo Education and the Legacy of the Holy Ghost Missionaries finds answers to that question. This book critically assesses the benefits and burdens of the Church Missionary Education (CME) of the Holy Ghost Missionaries among nd’Igbo in southeastern Nigeria. It interrogates the propriety of its philosophy and reviews the adequacy of the methods used to promote it.

While critics lament the damage done by European explorers, merchants, colonialists, and missionaries to the educational traditions of Africa, apologists who defend them suggest that they did their best under prevailing circumstances. They ask, “Instead of revisit the past, why not get on with the business of modern times?” But the impact of the European presence in Africa is not a thing of the past. It is part of “Africa’s current and existential socioeconomic, political, religious, and educational struggles today. 1

This book describes the limitations of the neo-colonizing educational philosophy of the missionaries and calls for an alternative. A philosophy of wholeness is proposed as an alternative that would transition Africans to a liberating and liberatory Christian Religious Education (CRE) of the gospels. Such, it is argued, would better serve their needs and aspirations, and better heal the wounds of their colonial past.

**Title: Perfect Fit and Style for the Price!**
Size: XX-Large, Color: Navy Blue
I recently purchased the Gafeng Men's Trench Coat in XXL, and I couldn't be happier with my choice! At 6'2" and 210 lbs with an athletic build, I was initially concerned about finding the right fit, but this coat exceeded my expectations. The fit is perfect—tailored yet comfortable—and the length is just right. The style matches the pictures exactly, which is something I’ve struggled with in past purchases. The lightweight, wooly fabric is surprisingly warm, making it ideal for winter without feeling bulky. For the cost, this coat is a fantastic deal. It looks sharp enough for business attire while still being versatile for casual outings. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish and functional overcoat!

Definitely NOT the COLOR that’s advertised but not bad
I got this for my son for him to have his 1st official “dressy” coat for certain occasions. It will do for the price, but as I said in the description, it’s definitely not the color that’s shown in the advertisement. Its also not taken in like the picture. But not bad. It’s more of a camel color than a khaki like the advertisement. My son is 5’9 and has a slim build, I bought a L because he’s tall and this fits fine to be honest. I want him to be able to grow into it next year as well. If you have long arms you may wanna size up.

Nothing i wrote my comments above a statement above
Size: XX-Large, Color: Navy Blue
This item was not good quality, so I decided to not not use. It came pretty much wrinkled and folded in some package. And once again, it was not good quality was all wrinkled up you had to Send it to the cleaners to straighten it out and it didn't fit very well. It just wasn't there very good quality, kind of heavy, so so\n I'm not sure if I'll return it or just donate it to the local church. Thank you art cruz
