Every lawyer wants to be a good lawyer. They want to do right by their clients, contribute to the professional community, become good colleagues, interact effectively with people of all persuasions, and choose the right cases. All of these skills and behaviors are important, but they spring from hard-to-identify foundational qualities necessary for good lawyering. After focusing for three years on getting high grades and sharpening analytical skills, far too many lawyers leave law school without a real sense of what it takes to be a good lawyer. In The Good Lawyer, Douglas O. Linder and Nancy Levit combine evidence from the latest social science research with numerous engaging accounts of top-notch attorneys at work to explain just what makes a good lawyer. They outline and analyze several crucial qualities: courage, empathy, integrity, diligence, realism, a strong sense of justice, clarity of purpose, and an ability to transcend emotionalism. Many qualities require apportionment in the right measure, and achieving the right balance is difficult. Lawyers need to know when to empathize and also when to detach; courage without an appreciation of consequences becomes recklessness; working too hard leads to exhaustion and mistakes. And what do you do in tricky situations, where the urge to deceive is high? How can you maintain focus through a mind-taxing (or mind-numbing) project? Every lawyer faces these problems at some point, but if properly recognized and approached, they can be overcome. It's not easy being good, but this engaging guide will serve as a handbook for any lawyer trying not only to figure out how to become a better--and, almost always, more fulfilled--lawyer.Binding Type: Hardcover

Azelaic Acid Sunscreen A MUST!!!! BEST sunscreen!!!
Style: Acne/Rosacea Prone Skin
Finally!!!!! I have found a sunscreen that actually helps my skin!! I have tried so so so many! Around 25 different types! From $-$$$$! This one is so great! It is still a sunscreen and feels a bit of a sunscreen at first but once it has set it is amazing! I would absolutely recommend! I have acne prone, dry, sensitive skin and this has not broken me out isn't heavy and hasn't inflamed my skin. It has actually improved my skin. I like the lower list of ingredients as well. I use Retin-a 0.1% (at night) and use a moisturizer AM&PM (person and covey DMl) under this. I would say it isn't a stand alone moisturizer. Would recommend this! And will be buying another one once this one is out!
Pros:
Liquid/watery consistency
Minimal ingredient list
Works great with makeup
Layers nicely
No white cast
Easy to remove
Nice packaging
Good price point
Great for acne/acne prone skin
Flaky skin approved
Not shiny
Actually helped my skin
Azelaic acid
Cons:
Slightly like applying sunscreen at first

Great product
Style: Acne/Rosacea Prone Skin
Really love this sunscreen. I was using shiseido before which has a nice texture but this one I honestly think is better. It doesn’t burn my eyes when I’m at the gym like other sunscreen too. Don’t usually need to wear a moisturizer with it because it is moisturizing, but I guess some people may consider a con depending on what you’re looking for. I am a super oily girl in general and I would say if you are sensitive to that then maybe try one of their more mattifying ones which I plan to do after I run out of this one. Otherwise, I don’t think I will change brands for SPF after trying this.
