This is the definitive book on British Motor Racing Circuits. Here, for the first time, is every circuit, from Aberdare Park to Waterbeach, with hundreds both well known and now long-forgotten in between.

Motorcycle racing in Great Britain began in 1907 with the opening of Brooklands near Weybridge in Surrey, the first purpose-built circuit in Europe and the inaugural staging of the Isle of Man TT.

Then, during the interwar period came venues such as Cadwell Park, Crystal Palace, Syston and Donington Park. However, it was after the end of World War Two in 1945 that circuit racing really established itself.

There was an influx of former wartime airfields including Boreham, Haddonham, Ibsley, Thruxton, Silverstone, and Snetterton but also Brands Hatch, Alton Towers, Scarborough, and Outton Park to name but a few.

North of the border came Beveridge Park, Errol and Charterholl, while across the Irish Sea, the Ulster Grand Prix and the North West 200 were bolstered by a myriad of new road courses.

Cheap and nice.
Color: Silver Black
It's heavy and easy to wind. Time is slightly fast, maybe a minute per day. Easy to resize. Great value.

it looks fantastic. There is nothing humble about this watch
Color: A Gold
It is a steal for the money, it looks fantastic. There is nothing humble about this watch. It makes its presence known. I see people get sight of it, then look away and come back and take a second long look at it One thing I would change.. the hands are not easily seen because they blend too much with the back ground. I got used to that and does not bother me any. Louie Vazquez in San Antonio TX

DOA - doesn't work.
Color: A Gold
Love the looks of this watch but I cannot get it to work. I think that it is mechanical, but I wind it and it only runs for one to 10 minutes and sometimes not at all. Am I doing something wrong?

nice watch but expect what you pay for.
Color: A Gold, Color: A Gold
Pretty solid watch decent size face i prefer large face watches even with my small wrist. Its pretty good at staying synchronized. The case is pretty solid but closer inspection makes it look cheap, i still love though and it does get a lot of looks. The band is my really only big complaint it feels chintsy and cheap, the clasp spring fellout once but very simple to re-insert and if you have small wrist like me its definite resize. Other than that for the price its a cool mechanical watch.
