This LED downlight is relatively easy to install! It is mains-powered, so there is no need for a separate transformer. To mount, wire it directly to the mains circuit and add a bulb. If you cannot DIY, consider hiring an electrician.
Since this LED downlight is made with a GU10 lamp holder, you can pair it with any GU10 bulb. However, if you want to utilise its dimming ability, use it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch! Dimmable downlights not only provide longer lifespans and increased efficiency but also allow you to bring different atmospheres to your space.
The downlight is IP20 rated, meaning it can only be used indoors and away from areas where water is frequent. For outdoor use, look for a fixture with an IP65 rating (IP44 is acceptable for bathroom zone 2 only but not zone 1).
