The fossil measures 22mm (0.85 inches) across, which is a good size for this species, and is very well preserved with great detail in the ribbing. It is clean on both sides - unusual for examples at this size. It has a beautiful pyritic metallic shine.

These little pyrite ammonites have long been used to create natural jewellery and look amazing in the flesh.

Around 196 million years old, this fossil would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Beef Tallow Sunscreen
That dry, stretched sensation that I sometimes get from using other sunscreens was not something that I experienced with this one.
