  • Heavy-duty silicone seals between each insulated compartment to lock in freshness, leaks, and odors. Please be aware that the coupling between layers is tight to prevent leaks and spills. And please don't lose the silicone valve on the bottom of each layer which will keep it leakproof.
  • The Interior and exterior are made from high-quality food-grade stainless steel SS304, which will never rust and is naturally BPA-free.

Reason I say that is I stacked one of the pots within one of the larger pots for storage and notice that by doing that it had scratched part of the surface off of one of the pans.
