It is in excellent condition and has a lovely grain pattern and patina built up over the last 300 years the photos don't really do this piece justice. The lid is ever so slightly warped (hardly noticeable to be honest) and the hinges are later. There is a lock but no key. There are some small areas of very old woodworm which I've treated for peace of mind nonetheless.
