Meticulously shaped in sterling silver, the Hippo Belt Buckle draws from the solid form and quiet strength of the hippopotamus. Its rounded structure reflects weight and presence, expressed through clean and deliberate lines.

Each piece is first sculpted in wax, where the contours of the form are carefully established. In the furnace, molten silver is poured using the traditional lost wax casting method, where fire and heat give form to the precious metal. The piece is then hand-finished and polished in the Studio, bringing clarity and depth to every detail.

It is best worn on one of our handcrafted bridle leather or crocodile belts, a classic accompaniment to the everyday safari.
