The Noise of Art: Works for Intonarumori contains seven compositions, created by the Opening Performance Orchestra, Blixa Bargeld, Luciano Chessa, and Fred Möpert. All the pieces relate to the theme of futurism and employ intonarumori, instruments invented and used more than a century ago by the Italian Futurists in their noise compositions. CD version includes 16-page booklet."In antiquity, life was nothing but silence."Today noise reigns supreme over human sensibility."The Art of Noises, pertained to the entire 20th century. Published in 1913, in response to Francesco Balilla Pratella's Manifesto of Futurist Musicians (1911), Luigi Russolo's text encompassed the fundamental ideas for the new music of the modern age. Radical ideas required original compositional approaches, as well as new types hof instruments - hence the futurists opted for the intonarumori. The two quotations prompted the Opening Performance Orchestra to give thought to creating compositions in which they would return to the early 20th century, when noises as means of musical expression emerged for the very first time. The typical instruments used by the Opening Performance Orchestra are laptops, by means of which they conceive their fraction music, which can be briefly characterized by the slogan "no melody no rhythm no harmony". Constructing three intonarumori, writing their own pieces for these instruments and performing works by other contemporary composers - Blixa Bargeld, Luciano Chessa, and Fred Möpert - represented for the Opening Performance Orchestra getting into close contact with the beginnings of the musical avant-garde, as well as returning to the historical roots of the music that had served as the basis of noise in art.

Great space saver

I love how this makes my sink so much more organized. For me, it holds a 20oz dish soap, a dish spray, 2 S.O.S. pads, 2 sponges, a steel wool scrubber, a bottle brush, a Stanley cap cleaner, and a sink stopper. I could still fit more if I wanted to. I can move the tall brush holder to whichever side I want, as well as the divider. It was super easy to put together, and functions well by draining all the drips right into my sink, instead of behind it. The black looks great and matches my kitchen well. This organized is built well and keeps mynsink area tidy and hygienic.

It Looks Nice and It Works

I like it. It is too long for my sink area, but it still works. Next to my sink is a dish rack.
One half of the caddy fits perfectly behind it, holding a 16oz bottle of dish soap and
a 16oz bottle of multi-surface cleaner. The part of the caddy that fits on my sink ledge
holds a sponge, scrubber and scouring pad, The caddy works great at keeping the ledge
dry. It is a very nice, well-designed item. I recommend this caddy it's keeps everything
organized and dry.

Good for organization, looks neat!

I've had this for almost a year now and expect to have it for a few more; seems very durable. The drain board thingy requires consistent cleaning every few days, but its done in less than two minutes. I usually wash the entire thing every two weeks to keep it shiny as well. I am seeing a little bit of rust, but it's not too much and it's not noticeable if you don't look for it. It's great for organization and was easy to assemble. A very sturdy and well-sized product.

Serves purpose and holds what it was intended to

I like it. Keeps things organized and handy in small kitchen. The attachable bin holding my brushes I put on outside of unit not inside as company pics show it. That bin only has one clip to hold it in place. This makes it a little wobbly if you want to place it on the outside like I did. I used 2 trash bag twisties to help tighten it into place. Doing this made it no longer lose and the inside area space larger to hold both of my soaps. Fits everything I need it to. I appreciated the little lever on bottom that moves for water drainage. My sink design doesn’t work for the other drainage design I found these to have online.
