A new introduction by prominent Williams scholar Robert Bray, editor of The Tennessee Williams Annual Review, reappraises the play more than half a century after it won the New York Drama Critics Circle Award: "More than fifty years after telling his story of a family whose lives form a triangle of quiet desperation, Williams's mellifluous voice still resonates deeply and universally." This edition of The Glass Menagerie also includes Williams's essay on the impact of sudden fame on a struggling writer, "The Catastrophe of Success," as well as a short section of Williams's own "Production Notes." Bhatt Writes Like a Freight Train Barreling Towards You
It's just hit after hit after hit. It's some of the punchiest writing I've ever read, conceived from a combination of a mastery over the written word and enough righteous indignation to burn a star out. Perfection. If you brought back Simone de Beauvoir today, after she stopped screaming at the sight of a computer, I think she'd thoroughly enjoy this. Rigorous and bracing as a read. Has its place in the modern feminist canon.

Pretty funny

The book gives us a more focused outlook on Chieg Wiggum. Full of its funny moments, I`d recomend this to huge Simpsons fans as it seems the shows writers managed to give us another hit.
