Relaxed / Intermediate Small Bike

Welcome to the Relaxed Group – the perfect starting point for your track riding journey! Whether you're new to the track or just easing into it, this group lets you learn the circuit, get comfortable with your bike, and build skills in a safe, supportive environment. No prior track experience is needed, but full safety gear is a must. Passing is limited to straightaways - or on the outside of corners - with a minimum 6-foot buffer, and it's always the passing rider's duty to ensure a safe maneuver – a rule that applies across all groups.

Relaxed group is for you if:

  • You are new to track riding or have completed only a few track days, and you’re still maybe a bit nervous about how the whole thing works (Higgy’s staff are here to help you at every step. Just speak with any Control Rider in the paddock anytime. They’re super friendly, professional, and they want to see you succeed and have fun)
  • you are a skilled rider and simply love going around corners (swiftly but not fast) and having great fun in a relaxed, non-competitive environment, this group is for you. If you’re in this category, there is no limit on engine displacement, but if it’s a bigger bike you must take it easy on the straights and keep speed differentials way down
  • you’re pretty fast on a small bike (<500cc) and have excellent bike control and riding discipline; you dislike the big speed differentials on the straights of the faster groups.

Intermediate You’re comfortable with the track layout and can maintain a consistent quick pace. Inside passes are fine, but you still appreciate riders giving a little extra room. This group suits riders refining their technique and building confidence and consistency with more traffic and a notably faster pace. Intermediate is for riders that are ready to take the next step on their riding journey. Riders should have an excellent understanding of the track layout, proper lines, flags, track day etiquette and most importantly their motorcycle. Note, your VIMC lap times are typically 1:40 or quicker.

Advanced Your lines are consistent and predictable, and you’re aware of faster riders approaching. You don’t flinch during close passes and are focused on smooth, fast riding. This group is for experienced track riders who understand and respect proper passing etiquette. Advanced group is exclusively for experienced track day riders and racers. There are no passing rules in Advanced (except VIMC T16-T19 no pass zone) but as always it is the passing riders responsibility to make a safe pass.

Not indestructible, but pretty close!
Size: Yellow, Size: Yellow
I adopted a pit mix a little over a month ago, and so far he's managed to destroy every single toy he's had, including ones meant for aggressive chewers. He's a sucker for a good squeaky toy, and this had good reviews (and was affordable) so I decided to check it out. He's had his corn for a week now, and surprisingly, it's still holding up pretty well - though there are some caveats to that. My boy didn't even want to wait for me to take his corn out of the plastic bag, he too excited to get it. He went to town immediately, to the point where he was sitting in a puddle of his own drool after about an hour. He managed to squeak it (which I couldn't do myself), but still hasn't really gotten the hang of doing so - and the squeaker, when wet, does sound a little... Well, wet. He managed to have bite marks in it within the first six hours. Within a day, there were tiny bits of yellow rubber starting to appear anywhere that he played with this toy. A week later and there are some decent sized chunks missing from the corn - some of which I've had to cut off when they got loose and I worried about him choking on them. He loves his corn cob, and will likely get at least a few more weeks of play out of it before I have to toss it for his safety. I'm unsure of whether the squeaker is still functional, but he seems to love it whether or not it squeaks. Overall, it's not a bad toy for most aggressive chewers, but it will not last forever. The rubber is as heavy as the regular red Kong toys, but it feels slightly softer, which might contribute to his ability to break off little pieces. Make sure you keep an eye on your dog with this toy, or with any other, especially if they are chew goblins. But I'd definitely buy this toy again.

Solid piece
Size: Yellow
Border Collie loves it. Great for aggressive chewers. Prefers this to the carrot or the pineapple one. Probably better for large dogs than my medium size dog as there is some heft to it.

Probably indestructible since your dog won't want to play with it.

Boring yellow and rubber chew toy with a weird smell. My dog was not impressed.

Great chew toy!
Size: Blue
Great chew toy that dogs love! The toy is hard but also soft for comfortable chewing. The plastic is lightweight and does not leave sticky residue. It is super easy to clean so won’t leave the toy smelling like stinky dog!
