Description

Dioscorea elephantipesDioscorea elephantipes, also known as the Elephant Foot plant, is a slow growing species that attains a height of 10 feet and a width of 3 feet. As it matures, it develops a thick caudex that resembles an elephant's foot or a miniature tree trunk, with a rough and textured surface. Dioscorea elephantipes, also known as the Elephant Foot plant, is a slow-growing species that attains a height of 10 feet and a width of 3 feet. As it matures, it develops a thick caudex that resembles an elephant's foot or a miniature tree trunk, with a rough and textured surface. As a summer-deciduous plant, its leaves fall off during the summer, and its stems typically die back, only to be replaced by new shoots in winter. In late fall and early winter, the greenish-yellow flowers appear, adding a touch of charm to this already intriguing plant. The flowers are dioecious, with male and female flowers produced on separate plants. The male flowers grow in erect racemes, while the female flowers grow in spinescent spikes. They emerge on long, slender stalks from the Dioscorea elephantipes caudex, making this plant even more enchanting.

The Dioscorea elephantipes is known to have mild toxicity for humans and pets if ingested, due to the presence of saponins. These substances can cause gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, and vomiting. To prevent any potential harm, it is recommended to keep this succulent out of reach from curious children and pets.

Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. Fragile: leaves may curl, fall off, or bruise during shipping. Will recover with proper light, water, and leaf shedding.

Awesome price for quality balls
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (ball only)
These balls are super bouncy and durable. My dog loves them and for the price these are totally worth it! I think they are as durable as nerf balls and equal in size, and much cheaper!

Rope comes out at the slightest force. Pointless tug toy!
Color: Four colors, Size: 6cm (with rope)
If your dog pulls on these (and why wouldn’t he?), the rope immediately comes out. Turns out they just fuse the ends of the nylon rope together, which is no match for a dog playing tug. Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.

Not for super chewers!
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope), Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope)
These rope ball toys arrived today. My poodle puppy loves rope ball toys and playing tug of war. These didn’t last 10 minutes. For context, she is 1 y.o., 30 lbs., is not teething & has her adult teeth. She did this on her own- we were not playing tug of war at the time the toy fell apart. At least there are 3 more in the package & when the rope is done, we’ll still have the balls to play with.
